Multi-State Poultry Feeding & Nutrition Conference

This event is a long-standing cooperative effort between the poultry industries and Michigan State University, Ohio State University, Purdue University, University of Illinois and University of Kentucky. Its schedule during the convention:

Wednesday, May 19

1 p.m.: Introduction

1:05-1:30 p.m.: “Economic Challenges and Opportunities in the Egg Industry,” Maro Ibarburu, Egg Industry Center.

1:30-2 p.m.: “Feeding Cage-Free Layers,” Dr. Lauren Nolan, Ridley Feed Ingredients Inc.

2-2:30 p.m.: “Evaluation of Products for Use in NAE Production Systems,” Dr. Kelley Wamsley, Mississippi State University.

2:30-2:45 p.m.: “The Impact of the Center of Excellence (COE) on Employment Needs of the Poultry Industry,” Dave Hasemann, Rose Acre Farms.

2:45-3 p.m.: Questions and answers continue via live chat, and break time.

3-3:30 p.m.: “Corn Fermented Protein for Poultry from Bioethanol Biorefineries,” Dr. Peter Williams, Green Plains Inc.
