SELBYVILLE, Del. — Mountaire Farms is partnering with hundreds of churches and non-profits in four states to provide complete meals for families in need at Easter.
Each Mountaire Cares box can feed a family of four. They are stuffed with a Mountaire roaster chicken, canned corn, peas and carrots, macaroni and cheese, apple sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, and brownies for dessert. They will be distributed to groups from Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.
On Delmarva, Mountaire’s annual Easter for Thousands event will be held today, April 5. More than 150 volunteers will help pack 5,000 meal. . .
