WESTMINSTER, S.C. — Meyn has recently announced its plans for a new $65 million, 58-acre campus in Westminster, S.C. This investment indicates the company’s dedication to expanding its presence in the Americas.

The site will include a 187,000-square-foot Manufacturing Center, an 18,000-square-foot Meyn Experience Center, and an 80,000-square-foot Parts Distribution Center for rapid parts delivery, rebuilds, and service support, the company said in a release.

Together, these sites will extend Meyn’s production and service networks across the Americas, adding engineering, manufacturing, and training capacity to support customers with greater proximity, consistency, and service continuity.

“The U.S. market is unique — processors here think differently, operate differently, and scale differently,” Todd Rhodes, Meyn vice president & general manager, Americas, said. “This campus puts us right beside them, enabling us to co-create solutions that drive the next generation of performance.”

As poultry production demand increases and the industry becomes more consolidated and data-driven, this expansion is coming at the right time for processors across the US, Canada, and Latin America, the company noted.

Meyn has built its reputation on the integration of innovation, engineering, and manufacturing, and this new campus continues that legacy as it is equipped with state-of-the-art CNC machining, metal forming, welding, and surface-treatment technologies, the company added.

“Meyn’s heritage of precision engineering is a great foundation,” Joost Weel, Meyn CEO, said. “Our new U.S. campus builds on that strength by tailoring technology for American processors — practical, accessible, and ready for their specific challenges. It also positions us to be the most dependable source for innovative poultry-processing solutions, parts, and service.”

Along with the commitment to American expansion, this investment also shows Meyn’s commitment to cultivating local talent and industry partnerships. Westminster was chosen specifically for its skilled workforce, strong manufacturing base, and proximity to leading technical colleges and universities, the company said.

This investment will create more than 170 new jobs in Oconee County and is expected to break ground in November with an official opening in early 2027.
