Mar-Jac Poultry receives grant to further expand operations in Alabama

Alabama’s Gov. Kay Ivey announced that a $300,000 grant has been awarded to help provide jobs in Franklin County, Ala. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) will be used for assisting Mar-Jac Poultry, a national and international poultry supplier company, in building a new feed mill, which will employ 30 people and increase job opportunities in the region with other agriculture related positions.
