Looking at Georgia poultry industry resiliency following hurricane devastation

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The resiliency of the Georgia poultry industry in the face of adversity was a theme of this year’s 89th annual meeting of the Georgia Poultry Improvement Association, hosted by the Georgia Poultry Laboratory Network in Gainesville on Oct. 8.

The GPLN took this annual opportunity to recognize several employees with work anniversaries, recognize the association’s board and members, as well as giving a detailed look at how the state in the past year has overcome challenges of natural disaster and poultry disease.
