Live production meet to focus on AI issues

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Poultry Federation for Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma has announced that the Poultry Symposium for Live Production has been re-scheduled for Sept. 1-2 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers, Ark.

Donnie Smith, president and CEO of Tyson Foods, is the keynote speaker.

The meeting was originally scheduled for November but was moved due to the risk of an avian influenza outbreak in that month. The Grower Breakout session is also canceled.

Avian influenza will be the focus of the symposium in order to inform industry members on the issue. Topics include an update. . .
