ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Jim Dean, president and CEO of Center Fresh Group, Sioux Center, Iowa, has been named United Egg Producers Egg Producer of the Year.
The award, presented during the UEP annual meeting, is in recognition and appreciation of "unselfish dedication to improving the strength and viability of America's egg industry by demonstrating a 'leadership by doing' throughout many years of commitment and service."
Dean is currently chairman of the UEP board of directors and is also a past board member of the Iowa Poultry Association, U.S. Egg Marketers and the Midwest United Egg Producers.
