‘I’ll be telling your story everywhere’: National, state agricultural leaders get tour of Hall County Schools’ Meat Science Center

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Hall County Schools hosted state and national agricultural leaders Monday, March 24, for a tour of the district’s recently opened Meat Science Center, the only one of its kind in the state.

Zippy Duvall, the president of the American Farm Bureau Federation, one of the nation’s largest agricultural lobbying groups, delivered remarks before the tour, as did Tom McCall, president of the Georgia Farm Bureau. Also in attendance were state senators Russ Goodman, chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, and Drew Echols, R-Alto, owner of Jaemor Farms in Alto.
