ROSE HILL, N.C. — House of Raeford Farms has sold it Raeford, N.C.-based turkey cook plant to Butterball LLC.
More than a year ago, House of Raeford embarked on a strategy to grow its chicken production volume and further processed chicken product lines.
The company announced the closing of the Raeford plant in October 2014 and ceased operations in December 2014 as part of its new strategic direction.
