WASHINGTON — USDA's Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced the recall of products from Kayem Foods in Chelsea, Mass.; Royal Frozen Food in Los Angeles, Calif.; and Michigan Brand Inc. of Bay City, Mich.
Kayem Foods is recalling approximately 59,203 pounds of fully cooked chicken sausage products that may be contaminated with pieces of plastic.
Recalled products are 12-ounce packages of Trader Joe’s brand “Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage” with the case code 9605 and 8-ounce packages of al fresco brand “Apple Maple Fully Cooked Breakfast Chicken Sausage” with the case code 9709. The items were. . .
