WASHINGTON — USDA's Food Safety & Inspection Service has posted the names of four establishments in China that are eligible to export processed (cooked) poultry products to the United States.
Such product must be produced from poultry slaughtered in countries that have been determined by FSIS to have an equivalent poultry slaughter inspection system. China is eligible to export poultry products that are fully cooked and not shelf-stable.
China certified that the four poultry processing establishments located in the Shandong province that FSIS audited in March 2013, are operating under requirements equivalent to those of the United States.
