‘FEED Act’ introduced to help expedite new additive approvals

WASHINGTON — The nation’s feed industry lauds a recently presented bipartisan bill in the U.S. House of Representatives that is designed to expedite the approval process for feed additives that assist with animal health.

The “Innovative Feed Enhancement and Economic Development (FEED) Act” introduced by U.S. Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-N.Y.) modernizes regulations from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to make access to new feed additives for farmers approved more quickly.
