WASHINGTON — Lower prices for poultry and eggs in 2016 are being forecast by the USDA's Economic Research Service in its December "Livestock, Dairy and Poultry Outlook."
The department notes that for next year, prices on broilers are being projected at 5 percent less than 2015, eggs at 11 percent less and turkeys at a decrease of 3 percent. ERS adds that production numbers and exports will be recovering from last spring's outbreaks of. . .
