AMES, Iowa — The Egg Industry Center at Iowa State University will hold its 2015 Egg Industry Issues Forum on April 7-8 at the Embassy Suites Downtown in Des Moines, Iowa.
Bill Northey, Iowa secretary of agriculture, will present opening remarks.
Topics include industry's labor force challenge, cage-free housing system management, animal welfare, salmonella control, egg processing and value-added opportunities.
Additional topics include genetic improvement for alternative hen-housing, China egg production and research trends and global market trends for feed grains.
