TUCKER, Ga. — The USA Poultry & Egg Export Council has elected Dr. Jianlin Si, Tyson Foods senior director of sales, as its Chairman of the Board for 2026-2027 during the group’s recent Annual Meeting in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Si moves up from his role as last year’s first vice chairman. He succeeds previous chairman Martin Piffaretti, Foodlink Group Inc. president. Piffaretti will remain on the Executive Committee as immediate past chairman.

“It is a great honor to be selected for this very important role,” Si said in the announcement. “Service as First Vice Chairman this last year after having served on the Executive Committee has given me a deep understanding of the council, its role, and impact.”
“USAPEEC’s work is integral to the successes and gains we have experienced in our industry, and I promise to do my best to continue our progress in the next year as we expand access for U.S. poultry and egg exports around the world,” he added.

  • First Vice Chairman Oleg Kovalev, Mountaire Farms.
  • Second Vice Chairman Andrew Szymanski, Wayne-Sanderson Farms.
