SALTILLO, Mexico —Despite the enormous challenges created by COVID-19 in the food and beverage sector, Church’s Texas Chicken has maintained its pace of growth, especially in Mexico, where the brand has reached the milestone of a total of 300 restaurants.

This new Church’s Texas Chicken location is located on Echeverria Street #840. The new venue stands out as one of Church’s Texas Chicken’s largest capacity in the country, and includes all of the brand’s updates, technologies and design improvements.

The newest restaurant reflects an exciting transformation inspired by Texas architectural style, the company notes. Its design includes a modern dining room that follows the current preferences of customers. It features unique features, including state-of-the-art online ordering technology and Church’s To Go. The newest restaurant in Saltillo also showcases the preparation and flavor of Church’s homemade freshly fried chicken, homemade sides, as well as Honey Butter Biscuits, which have become a favorite of Church’s fans in Mexico, the company added.

“We have loyal followers in Mexico, which has been evident through the growth we have been fortunate enough to experience in the country. We are proud that our franchisees believe in the brand and continue to create growth opportunities,” said Russ Sumrall, vice president of international development and franchise productivity at Church’s Texas Chicken Americas. “With recent remodeling and expansion, we are honored that franchise groups such as Rapid Service Restaurants and ADPI Group are seeing the success of our model. Our extensive experience and knowledge in franchises, along with the shared vision of our brand, makes them the ideal partners who can really help the growth of Church’s Texas Chicken in Mexico and the Americas.”

Church’s Texas Chicken’s newest restaurant is part of ADPI Group, a well-known operator with more than seven years with the brand, and four other Church’s Texas Chicken restaurants in Coahuila State, Mexico.

ADPI Group has maintained a steady growth trajectory with Church’s Texas Chicken since its establishment, adding a new restaurant every year and a half with plans to open more in the northern region of Mexico.

“We were watching Church’s® for several years before joining the team. When ADPI Group was created seven years ago, we knew we wanted to start with one of its restaurants,” said Alberto Piñones, managing director of ADPI Group. “We knew the proven experience of the brand and visualized its growth potential in Mexican markets. We admired the level of quality provided by the brand and wanted to be part of this company. We are excited to contribute to its growth in the areas we serve.”

ADPI is a sub-franchisor for Church’s Texas Chicken master franchise for the United Mexican States: Fast Service Restaurants, C.V. R.L., which began operations with Church’s Texas Chicken/Church’s Chicken in Mexico 42 years ago and has enjoyed uninterrupted brand growth during the past decade. Quick Service Restaurants operates 98 branches of Church’s Texas Chicken/Church’s Chicken in Mexico.
