Chicken product recalled due to misbranding

WASHINGTON — Bon Appetizers LLC of Lakewood, N.J., is recalling approximately 10,429 pounds of chicken product due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the USDA's Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced. The product contains peanut, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

Products recalled are vrious weight bulk packages of “Cuisine Innovations Chicken Empanada," “Cuisine Innovations Chicken Quesadilla Cornucopia (chicken and cheese filling in flour tortilla)," “Ridgecrest Chicken Quesadilla Cornucopia (chicken and cheese filling in flour tortilla)" and “Culinary Secrets Chicken Quesadilla Cornucopia."
