CDC issues warning after 65 illnesses stemming from recalled eggs

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Milo’s Poultry Farm, Bonduel, Wis., has recalled all of its branded eggs with the labels “Milo’s Poultry Farm” and “Tony’s Fresh Market” after an investigation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration revealed that these eggs have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also issued a warning and noted that 65 people from 9 states have gotten sick from the same strain of salmonella believed to be linked to these products. The products were shipped to be sold in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan through retail stores. . .
