California Poultry Federation announces its 2025 award winners

MODESTO, Calif. — Special awards are a highlight of the California Poultry Federation’s Annual Conference & Meeting, recently held this year in Monterey, Calif., and is an opportunity for the federation to recognize outstanding individuals and companies for exemplary contributions to the state’s poultry industry.

The 2025 honorees include:

· Golden Rooster Award

Dr. Rodrigo Gallardo, a professor and professor in residence with the University of California-Davis, is the 2025 recipient of the CPF’s highest honor — the Golden Rooster Award. The federation notes that Gallardo was chosen because of his outstanding service and support to California’s poultry. . .
