WASHINGTON — The American Meat Institute has announced that it will sponsor a beef plant tour at the 2015 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), the world's largest annual feed, meat and poultry industry trade show, scheduled for Jan. 27-29, 2015, in Atlanta, Ga.
During this five-hour tour, participants will view food safety procedures and worker safety initiatives in place at a beef processing plant. The program will conclude with a question and answer period featuring plant staff.
The tour, which costs $99 for registered IPPE attendees, is open only to packers and processors ages 18 and over. . .
