A chance to experience a little ‘life on the farm’ in North Georgia

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Residents of Hall County, Ga., will have the opportunity to experience life on the farm when the Georgia Mountains Farm Tour comes back into town Oct. 26.

For the celebration of National Farmers Day, the public is invited to see local farms and learn more about sustainable agriculture. Starting at 1 p.m. at Tosta Family Farm, attendees will begin a self-guided tour through two animal farms. The tour ends at Hopewell Farms. Along with touring local farms, attendees can also learn about the local food systems while in a class about mushrooms.
