WASHINGTON — Walker’s Food Products Co., of North Kansas City, Mo., is recalling approximately 2,200 pounds of chicken salad products because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced.
The products are formulated with a soy protein concentrate, a known allergen, which was not properly declared on the labels. The products subject to recall include 5-pound and 1-pound plastic tubs of “Walker’s All White Chunky Chicken Salad.” The products bear the establishment number “P-13335” inside the USDA Mark of Inspection.
