WASHINGTON — Michigan Turkey Producers, a Grand Rapids, Mich., company, is recalling approximately 54,011 pounds of turkey breast products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically an unidentified black material, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service announced.
Recalled products are 12-pound packages containing “Meson Sandwiches, Oven Roasted Sliced Turkey Breats" with a use or freeze by date of 11/27/16, and 22-pound logs containing “Oven Roasted Turkey Breast with Broth” with a use or freeze by date of 11/27/16 or 12/15/16.
