UGA receives USPOULTRY Foundation grant

TUCKER, Ga. — The University of Georgia Poultry Science Department recently received a $16,334 student recruiting grant from the USPOULTRY Foundation.

Tom Hensley, president of Fieldale Farms and U.S. Poultry & Egg Association board member, presented the check to Dr. Mike Lacy, professor and head of the Poultry Science Department at the University of Georgia.

Georgia Poultry Federation president Mike Giles and Abit Massey, GPF president emeritus, assisted in the check presentation.
