WASHINGTON — National Corn Growers Association President Chip Bowling, on July 20, presented the NCGA President's Award to U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.).
This award is given annually to a leader who has worked to advance issues important to corn farmers and agriculture, the NCGA added.
"Senator Donnelly is a true advocate for farmers in Indiana and throughout the country," Bowling said. "He is one of ethanol's biggest champions in Congress. He understands the importance of ethanol and the Renewable Fuel Standard, which has made America more energy independent, strengthened the rural economy, and given consumers more. . .
