WASHINGTON — The U.S. has called on Russia to overturn that country's decision to suspend all imports of U.S. meat, saying the move disregards scientific studies on food safety.
As of Feb. 11, Russia is prohibiting imports of all U.S. beef, pork, turkey and other meat products by requiring a zero tolerance for the presence of ractopamine.
