SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. — Shane Joyner, live production manager for Tyson Foods Inc. in Obion County, Tenn. has received the Workhorse of the Year award from the Tennessee Poultry Association.
The award was presented during the association's annual meeting banquet held recently in Nashville.
The association also presented its 2016 Farm Family of the Year award to Berner Farms of Union City.
Joyner has served as secretary-treasurer and as a board member of the Tennessee Poultry Association. He has also been active on TPA's Live Production Committee in planning grower meetings.
He also works closely with the agriculture program. . .
