Stuffed chicken product recalled for misbranding

WASHINGTON — Big Easy Foods Louisiana Cuisine Inc. of Lake Charles, La., is recalling approximately 93,006 pounds of both raw and cooked stuffed chicken product due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced today. The product contains wheat, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label.

Recalled products are 3-pound chipboard cartons of Big Easy Foods of La “Boneless Stuffed Chicken with Pork Sausage and Potato Stuffing” with sell by dates of June 9, 2015, through June 8, 2017; and 3-pound chipboard cartons of Big Easy Foods. . .
