GREAT FALLS, S.C. — Childhood innocence has changed the life of Homer Harmon of Great Falls. It happened at a Church of God campgrounds near Maudlin about two years ago. Kailyn Smith of Charlotte looked at the then-72-year-old, white-haired Harmon and said, "You look like Colonel Sanders" of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame.
A year later, Homer decided to dress up like the Colonel for a contest at a Church of God senior retreat. He borrowed a white suit. His wife, Brenda, fashioned the Colonel's signature string tie out of ribbon. He cut off. . .
