Richmond Community College receives USPOULTRY grant

TUCKER, Ga. – Richmond Community College (RCC) in Hamlet, N.C., has received a $5,000 student recruiting grant from the USPOULTRY Foundation. The grant will support the college's new articulation agreement with N.C. State University (NCSU) which allows graduates of RCC's associate in science program to transfer as juniors into the NCSU Poultry Science program.

Accepting the check on behalf of the program were Dr. Dale McInnis, RCC president; Kevin Parsons, RCC Arts and Science Division chairman; and Kelsey Stutts, a student from Ellerbe, N.C. Stutts is planning on using the program to pursue a poultry. . .
