BERLIN, Md. — The two sides in a Maryland poultry pollution law suit are now battling over whether a federal judge should visit an Eastern Shore farm at the center of the dispute.
Attorneys for Berlin farm owners Alan and Kristin Hudson and Perdue Farms Inc. filed a motion for the visit. The attorneys say that will help the court weigh evidence in the case. Attorneys for The Waterkeeper Alliance, an environmental group suing the farm and poultry company, are opposing the motion.
