NPFDA awards scholarships

SAINT MARYS, Ga. — The National Poultry & Food Distribution Association has announced the winners of its four scholarships awarded annually.

Michelle Janik, who is studying animal science with a pre-veterinarian option and an interest in poultry at Oregon State University, won the Albin S. Johnson Memorial Scholarship.

Philip Wise, who is studying agricultural sciences at Pennsylvania State University, received the William Manson Family Memorial Scholarship.

George Ethan Kilcrease, a poultry science student with a pre-veterinarian option at Auburn University, was awarded the Alfred Schwartz Memorial Scholarship.
