TUCKER, Ga. - U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is extending the nomination deadline for the 12th annual Family Farm Environmental Excellence Award competition to Oct. 1, 2012. The award recognizes exemplary environmental stewardship by family farmers engaged in poultry and egg production. Those eligible for the award include any poultry grower or egg producer (family-owned) who supply product to a USPOULTRY member or an independent producer who is a USPOULTRY member.
The award is presented to superior family farmers in six regions of the country. One award may be presented for each of the regions: Northeast, Southeast, South Central. . .
