NCPF presents distinguished service awards

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Poultry Federation presented two Distinguished Service Award and elected officers during its recent annual meeting in Greensboro, N.C.

Distinguished Service Awards were presented to:

  • Dr. Sarah Mason, director of Animal Health Programs/Poultry at the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services; and
  • Dr. Mike Williams, head of the North Carolina State University Prestage Department of Poultry Science and director of the Animal & Poultry Waste Management Center.

NCPF President Ronnie Parker and state agriculture commissioner Steve Troxler also presented the 2016 Grower Environmental Award to. . .
