Meat and poultry products recalled for undeclared allergen

WASHINGTON — House of Smoke Inc. of Fort Lupton, Colo., is recalling approximately 144,000 pounds of meat and poultry products (including bratwurst / brotwurst, fully cooked sausage-type products, and raw fresh products) because of an undeclared allergen and misbranding, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced. The products were processed with a releasing agent containing soy lecithin, a known allergen that is not declared on the label.

The products subject to recall bear the establishment number “EST 6273” or “P-6273” inside the USDA Mark of Inspection. These products were sold nationwide to distributors, restaurants, and over the. . .
