House of Raeford closes N.C. turkey plant

RAEFORD, N.C. — The House of Raeford Farms  officially cease slaughter operations on Aug. 1 at their turkey processing plant in Raeford, NC.

Closure plans were announced last March and also included the phasing out of turkey growing and hatchery operations in eastern NC.
