ATHENS, Ga. — The 2012 Georgia Ag Forecast, a series of informative discussions for Georgia agribusiness, will be held in five cities during the week of Jan. 23-27.
The cities and dates are: Macon, Jan. 23; Tifton,Jan. 24; Statesboro,Jan. 25; Gainesville, Jan. 26; and Carrollton, Jan. 27.
University of Georgia ag economists will present the annual economic outlook for agriculture and agribusiness. An update on current farm labor issues will also be presented.
The series is presented by the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Georgia Farm Bureau and the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
