Frozen pizzas recalled due to possible foreign matter

WASHINGTON — Annie's Homegrown Inc. of Berkeley, Calif., is recalling an undetermined amount of frozen pizzas that may be contaminated with extraneous materials and are the subject of a Food & Drug Administration recall, the USDA's Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced.

All varieties of "Annie's Homegrown Rising Crust Frozen Pizza" with a "Best By" date including and between "09Jan13" and "14Sep13" are affected.

Products being recalled are 23.6-ounce Organic Pepperoni Pizza, UPC code 0 13562 20000 9; 25.4-ounce Organic Supreme Pizza, UPC code 0 13562 20002 3; 22.6-ounce Pepperoni Pizza. . .
