Food manufacturers call for stable workforce

WASHINGTON —  A broad food manufacturers coalition is calling for a stable and permanent workforce that can help sustain the rural communities where meat and poultry facilities operate.

Speaking on behalf of the Food Manufacturers Immigration Coalition, National Chicken Council President Mike Brown outlined immigration reform themes before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security
