SALISBURY, Md. — The 2011 Delmarva Poultry Conference, sponsored by the University of Maryland and University of Delaware, will be held Sept. 28 at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Md.
Topics for the program include managing poultry house litter, concentrated animal feeding operation regulations, biosecurity, high air speeds in tunnel houses, lighting for the broiler industry, brooding, hot weather ventilation and water quality.
Speakers will be Bill Brown, University of Delaware, Jennifer Timmons, University of Maryland, Kenny Bounds, Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit Inc., David Shapiro, Perdue Farms, Mike Czarick, University of Georgia, Susan Watkins, University of Arkansas. . .
