Chicken and dumplings recalled due to undeclared allergen

WASHINGTON — St. Clair Foods Inc. in Memphis, Tenn., is recalling approximately 26,800 pounds of chicken and  dumplings due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced. The products contain milk, a known allergen, which was not declared on the product label.

The chicken and dumplings were produced on various dates from Sept. 13 through Oct. 6, 2016.

Recalled products are 2-pound and 5-pound pastic sealed packages containing “St. Clair Foods Chicken and Dumplings and 5-pound plastic sealed packages containing “Ron's Homestyle Foods Chicken and Dumplings. The establishment number. . .
