Bill Baisley inducted into TPA Hall of Fame

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. — Bill Baisley of Dayton, Tenn., retired Peterson Farms vice president,  was inducted into the Tennessee Poultry Association's Hall of Fame on Aug. 8 during the annual awards banquet ceremony in Nashville.

Baisley began his career in the poultry industry in 1959 with the Dixie Grain Co. in Shelbyville as feed salesman and technical service representative for the Jamestown, Tenn., area.

He worked as live production manager and assistant manager for Dixie Home Feeds, living in Athens, Ala.;  and  later served as general manager for Erving Hatcheries at the Southeast office in McMinnville, Tenn., covering the states of. . .
