AMSA names Morgan as president-elect

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — American Meat Science Association (AMSA) has announced that Dr. J. Brad Morgan, senior food safety and enhancement specialist for Zoetis, recently began his three-year term on the AMSA board of directors as the 2013-2014 president-elect.

Morgan has been an active member of AMSA since 1986 serving as a director from 2009-2011 and on numerous AMSA committees. He was the recipient of the 1996 AMSA Distinguished Achievement Award, 2005 AMSA Distinguished Teaching Award and 2011 Intercollegiate Meat Judging Meritorious Service Award.
