Six named to Meat Industry Hall of Fame

WASHINGTON — The Meat Industry Hall of Fame recently announced the names of six new inductees. They are:

Barry Carpenter, CEO of the newly formed North American Meat Association, a consolidation of the National Meat Association and the North American Meat Processors Association.

Michael Dikeman, professor of meat science at Kansas State University, past president of the American Meat Science Association  and the Federation of American Societies of Food Animal Sciences.

Tom Pierson, professor emeritus at Michigan State University.

James (Bo) Reagan,  vice president of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association Research and Knowledge Management Center.

Roger Reiser, president of Reiser. . .
