Products recalled for misbranding, undeclared allergen

WASHINGTON — George’s Inc. of Springdale, is recalling approximately 29,200 pounds of seasoned raw, chicken breast strips due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, USDA's Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced.

The products are formulated with soy protein, a known allergen, and monosodium glutamate (MSG). However, the product was released with a label for George’s boneless skinless breast pieces with rib meat, which does not declare soy or MSG on the label.

The products being recalled are 40-pound bulk cartons of “George's Boneless Skinless breast Pieces w/Rib Meat" with case code 4790. The. . .
