NAPA, Calif. — The American Egg Board has presented its second "Good Egg Award" to Jim Nield in recognition of his "outstanding service and dedication" as an egg industryman.
The inaugural "Good Egg Award" was presented to the family of Richard Simpson in 2013.
Nield joined Sanovo in 2008, where he still works. He previously worked at Diamond, selling Diamond equipment in 40+ countries. One major accomplishment was bringing egg grading from six eggs per second to 60 eggs per second. He developed a high-tech grader that was introduced in 2011.
He also holds three U.S. patents in all. . .
