IPPE gives back to Atlanta with $10,300 donation

ATLANTA — The meat, poultry and feed industries work together to produce safe and healthy food products. Production and efficiency levels and genetic improvements have made tremendous gains in the last decade alone. However, many people still suffer from hunger. One in seven Americans, and an estimated 755,400 people in metro Atlanta, Ga., turn to food pantries and meal service programs to feed their families each year.
