USDA predicting poultry production increases for 2016

WASHINGTON — Poultry prices for the first half of the year are being estimated by USDA at more than in 2015. This combined with energy prices and lower feed costs, are viewed to produce a production growth as the industry continues to rebuild from last year, notes USDA’s Economic Research Service in its latest Livestock, Dairy and Poultry Outlook report.
