AEB names Anne Alonzo as president, CEO

PARK RIDGE, Ill. — Anne Alonzo has been named president and CEO of the American Egg Board.

AEB noted that Alonzo has significant experience in agriculture, food and sustainability. She most recently served as administrator of USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service,

Blair Van Zetten, president of Oskaloosa Food Products Corp. in Oskaloosa, Iowa, has been named as the new chairman of the AEB Executive Committee.

"Under their stewardship, AEB will continue to advance its core mission of increasing demand for eggs and egg products while moving the organization forward to support an evolving egg industry," AEB stated.
