Snyder elected GPF chairman, and the year’s highlights featured at annual meeting

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Georgia Poultry Federation elected its new chairman and officers for the upcoming year during its recent annual meeting held at the Georgia Poultry Laboratory Network headquarters in Gainesville, Ga., on May 5.

Steve Snyder, Claxton Poultry director of operations, takes the helm as GPF chairman for 2026-2027. Snyder has worked in the poultry industry for 38 years, the past 18 years, of which, have been with Claxton Poultry. Michael Crump, Wayne-Sanderson Farms chief operations officer, now becomes the group’s immediate past chairman.
